The principal goal of education is to create men who are capable of doing new things, not simply of repeating what other generations have done.

I believe that students should be given tools to think and solve problems for themselves. Education is more than memorizing; it is understanding what has been taught. I believe in pushing students and always expecting them to do what they are capable of and not what they can get by doing. I believe hard work pays off and with help and encouragement all things are possible. If the student works to the best of their ability all the time, good things will happen.
In education, nothing works if the students don't.
